If you use a router, and/or linux, you know that ipconfig doesn't work, because you're not remotely connected to the internet, it changes your LAN IP, not your Dynamic IP Address.
Depending on your router, instructions may be different.
Basically, you're looking for a field called "Mac Address".
I own a netgear WGsomething, and I'll go ahead and post up how to do it.
1> Login
2> Basic Settings
3> Scroll down
4> Change your mac!
Now, for instance, your mac is:
00:1B:13:37:13:37
You MUST NOT change the first 2 hex numbers!
So, if you wanted to change it, it could be:
00:1B:1A:2A:3B:4F
5> Apply
6> Wait several minutes for the router.
7> Post if it worked
